Thursday is normally just a transport day, ie the drive to Wagga Wagga. For me it was a little different to my normal day. First up at trip
to andrew Mierischs place to prepare for the A's loading, he was busy on the loco still doing work. Then I drove to a storage place Andrew has
where I met his wife Karen who reversed a truck and rrailer out of the shed, and I put my car in. Then it was a quick trip back to Andrew;s
to get the truck checked out, and a little advice on driving this, for me huge thing compared to my Corolla.
As it was the main thing was the turning circle, and the rear overhang that might catch me out. So the next part was driving to my place to pack my bags. next up was the main drive. Starting off with 3/4 of a tank, I were told i would get to Wangaratta. So off I went. Until I stopped around Euroa I then worked out hte airconditioning. all the while mainly stayed behind other "real" trucks. After filling up at Wangaratta, and I needed to, the cruise control was worked out, I had to ignore some adviceI were told and worked it out myself ! -Cruise control really helped.
Eventually pulled into Wagga Wagga. Went straight to the caravan park.
