The big picture:
Update 5th August 2017

I like to think, so here it is written downhere. I made a serious error, it has just occured to me that the framework is totally useless,,,,,,

Really !

So why? Well Emerald station is basically on a slop. The platform side generally has a hald embankment for most of it's length, only comming to rail level at each road crossing . The picture do not show it effectively - the platform height is not the size of the drop off, it is greater. All other sides are ok either rail or on the down end slightly rasied. It is that depressed platform area that concerns me, as it is a real feature that needs modelling.
So the exisiting framework only allows above ground scenery. I could add risers to hold the layout up. Or I could make new crosssmembers with the right profile. the aim of course is weight saving. I no illusion that I will be able to carry the modules by myself when done, but where I can I want to save the weight if possible.
At the moment I think the option 3 is the way to go. I think about 4cm rise will be enough, so the platform height to the ground on that slope will be more. All I need is to replay the cossmembers, and the joins. Hopefully the next update will have progress on this.

Till next update....
