The big picture:
Update 21st May 2015

Well, as part of the working bee last Wednesday 20th May, among other things done was some work by Paul Gallacher preparing to lay some track. All normal . The next day I checked the room to do some work. Saw the box that Paul had taken the code 83 track out of.

I knew that I had only 4 lengths left and were not surprosed to see the box looking empty. I knew I had no more track left for code 80, and a few lengths left for the staging yard, being code 100. For the near future that will be the end of track laying as I am using all my resources without spending money, having no money to spend.

So looking at the box, well, it's empty so might as well throw it, well cut it up and throw in the rubbish bin. when I lifted it, well it was not light enough to be empty ? So I upturned the box to empty it. Well out of the box dropped 2 lengths of Z scale track, and a box of Z scale track. The track and box are way shorter than the code 83 track so would have not seen them. The significance of this I will reveal: I thought I had lost them 2 years ago!

Back in 2013 I had all sorts of Medical problems. Januaryu 2013 saw me in Hospital in Brisbane. After discharge stayed with my parents for February, and wanted to return home to Melbourne in March. But the doctors did not want me to drive at that stage. So I packed the car with all the stuff I had brought up for Christmas, and purchased while up there, so my brother could drive my car down a week later after I flew down. then when my car and stuff was home, I unpacked the car, and neverfound the Z scale track. I were sure I packed them and looked and looked. when I went up to my Parents for Christmas 2014 I searched my room there to no avail. The track has gone ! So I purchased another box of Z scale track.

So finding the Z scale track was a surprise. I never thought I had thrown the track into another box of track. It was a pleasent surprise indeed. So I now have 2 boxes of the Z scale track, and 2 extra lengths as well, as shown below.

So more of a story than progress. The Weipa layout is on a long term hold until my life get better and I can get a income once again. But anything can be constructed as a update, and this means I have nmore track than I thought I had. ......
