Once plan 1 was shown around it was time for more detailed planning. Some plastic sheeting was purchased, draped over the bare modules and whiteboard marked and eraser brought. Using full size templtes and full size track and points we started to plan 1:1 on the baords themselves.
This clearly resulted in many real changes. The major one was where the river would be and where the cement branch would pass under the mainline. This was moved by one module onto the last module. It shortened the cement roads by only a little.
We also have altered the "Up" yard entrance by planning for a double slip. We also have moved the grain road a little awy from the main.
That's all on the plan so far. I have shown the rest of plan 1 as it was planned. This will change as we 1:1 plan more of the layout.......
