Ninamanima (a branch terminus) from the down end, goods shed to
be moved to other side. Steel backdrop in place.
Ninamanima from the down end, steel backdrop extends past Graytown on other side of ailse.
Note low profile linkable fluro lights. Costerfield yard is above still waiting for final positioning and more
joists. That's me doing something.

B65 and T327 in Graytown.
Graytown looking from the junction end. Pledge One Go has various uses related to glazing
on models, it makes plastic look more like glass.

View of Graytown showing silo and double cross-over with off set diamond.
View of double cross-over with off set diamond, the diamond is offset to allow a double
compound (slip) to be fitted at one end. There is a lapped (3 way) turnout at the other end.
Close up of the double cross-over with off set diamond. Track centres are 11' 6" here.

B65 and R714 in Graytown.

Another view of the double cross-over with off set diamond, there was a prototype for this
at Spencer Street from before 1904 until after 1940. The VR did it for the same reason as I did, a double
compound (slip) on one end.

Ninamanima looking toward the end of the line.

Spline roadbed on the branch line to Ninamanima from Graytown.
Junction end of Graytown showing my messy work bench.
Junction end of Graytown, the main goes to the left through the backscene and brick wall,
centre to quarry, right is branch to Ninamanima.
Curved backscene. It's guttering in coil form. I got it from a guttering supplier just buy
it by the metre, it doesn't seem to be available in blue so I rolled it out on the driveway and painted it with
a roller.
Spline heading into Ninamanima. Costerfield will be above and operated from a raised
platform that is on the other side of this peninsula, that is behind the backscene. Note total lack of
support for upper deck on right hand side.

Looking up under Costerfield.
Looking up under Costerfield, note notes stuck to Costerfield's backscene.
Ninamanima looking toward the down end of this terminus.
The upside down control panel at Ninamanima. Like most of the railway it is re-cycled from
it's previous life in a caravan. The only switches in frequent use will be the turnouts as DCC (NCE) is used for
locomotive control.
Graytown looking tidy with me looking on (dental drill behind my head).
This piece of trackwork took me weeks to build so I am going to have lots of photos.
That track again laid directly on the 19mm ply.
Ninamanima was short, then long and now short again but the track is yet to be rejoined.

Ninamanima.
4 of my 5 decoder equipped locos in one place.
General view with more backscene yet to be unrolled in bottom left of photo.
Costerfield is a mess, this is the other side of the peninsula, Ninamanima is below and
operated from the other side of the sheet steel backscene.
General view of Graytown, note mess under railway and Triang Sydney suburban electric (for sale).
BL30 in Graytown.

That track again with B65 shining a bright headlight.

See caption below right.

A double cross-over with off set diamond, there was a prototype for this at Spencer Street
from before 1904 until after 1940. The VR did it for the same reason as I did, a double compound (slip) on one
end requires some of the space the diamond would normally occupy. Track centres are 11' 6" here.
That sheet steel coming down from the ceiling is what supports Costerfield on one side.

(Movie. .wmv format, 1.4mb size)
A BL never sounded like this !
