This all came about because Mels has been hand writing the sightings, for over a year for personal use. And I'm just sharing them, with some of my own sightings too. WE like the Lagrange chat - which VirtualRailfan has provided the world.

First of it is important to know this is never going to be 100% accurate - with every time of every train, correctly identified. This is just a onlne log of Mels & my train sightings. We record the rough time we see the train, direction, and guess the train number. We won't expand to size, locos etc.

I can tell you there are gaps, and will be gaps, we all live real lives where we are and are not here 24/7 ( though many seem to think so ;) ) We will do our best. The site will be updated when we feel like it.

We do listen to the chatters, and many have provided sighting, corrections etc. This helps us capture more trains than we could alone. They are all listed on the main log page !

The information in all other links is there as a general guide to let people better understand. It is a simple attempt to provide information to my fellow chatters.

While it may be mentioned on the chat, the chat is no place to ask about content or complain (and I may remove such posts as a moderator) I might take on board some things.

Virtual Railfan may tolerate this site, but do NOT CONTACT THEM about it. I know Railfans the world over have so many tolerances and knowledge.
